Most shower problems start where you can't see them: a failed pan, cracked grout letting water into the wall, or a valve leak behind the tile. Because 3S Restoration is a water damage restoration company as well as a remodeler, we take the old shower down to the framing, check for moisture and mold, and rebuild it with a waterproofed pan and walls before the tile or slab goes on. The result looks better and keeps water where it belongs.
Shower Remodeling Options
- Tub-to-shower conversions. Remove a tub you never use and replace it with an open walk-in shower.
- Walk-in showers. Larger footprints, frameless glass, built-in niches and benches.
- Low-threshold and curbless showers. Easier entry where the floor and drain layout allow it.
- Accessible and aging-in-place showers. Wider entries, seating, handheld shower heads and blocking for grab bars.
- Shower replacement. Replace a leaking or worn-out shower with a new pan, walls, valve and glass.
- Slab and large-format surrounds. Few or no grout lines, which means less scrubbing of hard-water buildup.
- Tile showers. Porcelain, marble-look porcelain, mosaic floors and accent walls.
- Glass enclosures. Frameless and semi-frameless glass doors and panels.
Slab Surround or Tile?
Slab and large-format panels have almost no grout lines, so there's less to clean and less to fail, and they suit a modern walk-in shower well. Tile gives you more patterns, textures and accent options, and porcelain gives you the look of marble without the sealing and etching natural stone needs in a wet room. We'll show you both at your estimate and help you pick what fits the room and how much cleaning you want to do.

Can my tub be converted to a walk-in shower?
In most bathrooms, yes. We remove the tub, adjust the drain and plumbing, build a waterproofed shower base and finish it with tile or slab panels and glass. We'll confirm what your space allows at the free walkthrough.
Can you build a curbless or low-threshold shower?
Often, yes. It depends on the floor structure and where the drain can go. We'll check during the walkthrough and explain the options, including a low-profile curb if curbless isn't practical.
How much does a shower remodel cost in Mesa?

My shower is leaking into the wall. Should I remodel or repair?
