Chandler Bathroom Remodel: From Insurance Claim to Spa-Inspired Retreat
An insurance claim started this project. The homeowners turned it into two brand-new bathrooms — and we finished a full week ahead of schedule.
The Starting Point
After a water loss, mitigation on this Chandler home was handled by another contractor. When it came time for reconstruction, the homeowners chose 3S Restoration to rebuild their primary bathroom. Rather than simply putting the old layout back, they decided to put the insurance repair funds toward a remodel — and loved the design so much that they asked us to renovate the guest bathroom as well.
What We Built
- Spacious walk-in shower with a built-in bench and niche
- Floor-to-ceiling marble-look tile with pebble stone shower flooring
- Frameless glass enclosure
- Warm double vanity with quartz top and arched mirrors
- Brushed gold plumbing and lighting fixtures throughout
- Guest bathroom: new tub surround tile, wood vanity, matching gold fixtures
Before & After

Primary bathroom: original double vanity and tile → walk-in shower, marble-look tile and a warm double vanity.

Guest bathroom: dated tub and vanity → new tile surround, wood vanity and brushed gold fixtures.
Schedule & Coordination
Both bathrooms were remodeled on a condensed schedule so the family was without a working bathroom for as little time as possible. We coordinated trades to run back-to-back and completed the entire project one week early.
Using an Insurance Claim to Upgrade Your Home
When a covered loss requires reconstruction, your claim pays to restore what was damaged. Many homeowners use that moment to upgrade finishes, change layouts, or add a second room to the scope at their own cost. 3S Restoration handles both sides — the insurance reconstruction and the remodel — under one contract and one schedule.
